BirThDaY MoNtH....

April has been a pretty exciting month at the Anderson home. First of all we got a PUPPY! She's a little Miniature Australian Shepherd. We bought her from a lady out of Montana. We've been wanting a dog for a long time & now that we're finally in a position to have one we just couldn't wait. We're still trying to pick out a fitting name, but we'll keep you updated. Here's a pic of her...
Isn't she adorable?!

It was my birthday on the 26th of April and it was awesome! The weekend before my birthday my mom took me to Park City for the weekend for a little mom & daughter time. We got a hotel room and went out to dinner and spent the next day shopping. It was SO much fun. Since I got married, we haven't had a lot of time to do anything like that. I am so lucky to have such an amazing mom! She's one of my very best friends and I love her more than words can say. Thank you for the WONDERFUL weekend mom! <3

Mom & I are just 2 country pumpkins...we couldn't figure out the paid parking so we just left. We literally paid a dollar for every minute we were parked. We couldn't stop laughing....

SO confused! Ha Ha
Breakfast in Bed! :] We loved just chillin in the hotel room...

Getting ready to shop til we drop!

My beautiful mom!

Pringles vending machine?! For real?
Me with the amazing view.
Cory made sure to make the actual birthday wonderful too! I was able to use my floating holiday at work for my birthday. Nothing better than being paid for staying home. :] Anywho...I slept in late, lounged around all morning, and did a little more shopping with my birthday money that was left over from Park City. When I went to get in my car to go shopping my windows had been painted! My friends Kady & Kenzie had snuck to our house the night before and decorated it. I was totally surprised. I thought it was so sweet of them to go out of their way to make me feel special on my birthday. Later that day Cory took me to lunch at Olive Garden and then later that night I just wanted to hang out at home so he brought home Maverik hot dogs and we watched a movie. After the movie he got out the cake. It was delicious! He felt so bad I didn't have something to open but I was so spoiled because I was able to go and pick out everything I wanted. What a sweet hubby I have!

Love these ladies! ( I look awful in this pic, but I had to post it)
My G-Unit husband... throwing out a big 2 3 for my bday!

Wow, he is so handsome! This is before he took me out to lunch.

Mmmm....hot dogs! They really were so good.

Delicious cake!

Presleigh sent me a "Care" package in the mail. Her new thing is that she likes to make all of us birthday cakes with Grandma Shelly, but since I don't live as close as the rest of my family she sent me cookies in mail. It made my day! She told my mom, "Grandma, is Aunt Whitney going to be sad because this isn't a cake?". My mom had to explain to her that it would be just as great as a cake. My mom told me that Presleigh picked out all the decorations and spent a ton of time decorated them for me and putting the stickers on the card.  She also sent me a cute little key-chain in the card that she made herself.
My card & key chain from my niece Presleigh

The cookies, candles, & card she sent me in the mail. <3

I almost forgot...when I got to work the next day my best friend Kady decorated my desk & had my team bring cookies and cupcakes!

My decorated desk...

Michelle brought the birthday headband and Kathy gave me a "Mexican" candle. It made me laugh at how random she is!

Thank you to all of my friends and family that went out of their way to make my day special! I love you all so much!

Weekend Project.....

This weekend me & Cory decided to antique our trunk that we use as a coffee table. I absolutely love the way that it turned out! It finally ties the whole room together. Here are some pictures. :]

This year we spent our Easter weekend in Grace with my side of the family. It was so fun to have Easter breakfast, hide eggs with Cor, & get to watch Pres hunt for the eggs & ride her bike.
Pres was SO excited about her Easter bike
